Hi all,

I have a KD-49XD8099, bought in late 2016. I upgraded my standard broadband connection to a fibre connection a few days ago. All of my devices connected to the new router without any issues except for this TV. I’m getting a “wifi not connected” message every few seconds. I’ve connected via ethernet and it works intermittently.
I have done a factory reset and reset the router as well. I have also checked the time and date settings. I have a second Sony TV and it is working perfectly.

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

Do you need both WiFi and ethernet? Try pulling the ethernet plug. Or try disabeling WiFi (Network/Advanced/Built In WiFi)

Hi, thanks for your reply!
I don’t need both, I was alternating between them to see if anything improved but no luck!

Did you use static IP addresses on your previous router which maybe do not work on the new router (192.168.0.x versus 192.168.1.x)? But how could it work intermittantly? Beats me.
