Apps won’t open Sony TV

Hi there,

I have a KD-49XF8577.

I’ve been having trouble with my apps not opening now for months. I bought a now tv stick to subscribe to just to have something to watch but having spent so much on a smart tv I would like to get it working to its price tag.

I have done all the normal protocol, check for updates, switch internet in and off, leave unplugged for a while but it’s beginning to get really quite frustrating, can anyone help?

Ho, have you try to reboot Android TV keeping pressed Power/OFF on remote? Or a Factory Reset?

which apps ? Netflix, Prime etc. or the catch up apps linked to Youview ?
