topic Bravia AF9 presence sensor in Android TV

I set the screen saver (daydream) to turn on after 5 minutes, still it doesn't turn on when I'm out of the room for 5 minutes while YouTube is playing. Does the AF9 have a built-in presence sensor, and if yes how can it be activated? I also tried to set the Eco mode to Low, but it didn't help.

I'm just going to try to find some answers for you. In the meantime, maybe someone else in the community might have some ideas.

Thanks,

Hi plasmacel,

The screen saver function will only be enabled if operations aren't performed for a while on the TV. But in case of a video is playing on Youtube, the TV will detect that as an active operation and will not activate Screen Saver. I also checked the User manual, and didn't find a presence sensor at all. The alternative option for you will be settings a Sleep Timer:

https://helpguide.sony.net/tv/faep2/v1/en/07_02.html?hl=sleep+timer%5D

Regards,
Vanilla_
