Power lead for DCR-PC2E/PC3E

Does anyone in London UK, know where I can purchase a  Power lead for DCR-PC2E/PC3E Digital Video Recorder. Or can it be found on line, eBay and Amazon searches failed to turn one up.   It's pretty old model, bought in 2000. The part number in the operating instructions is DK-115 Connecting cord.

Thanks in advance.

Hi there,

You could try the Sony spare parts site here to see if the cable you need is available. Hope this helps.

Best wishes,

Ed

As a workaround, I connect an old Sony AC-LS5 4.2V power supply to a duff old NP-FS11 battery circuit board (having first removed the cells) and use that for the DC power coupler. It is reluctant to provide power and usually takes a good few removals and re-insertions of the hacked battery, with the camera turned on, to get it fired up. Once 'initialised' and providing power, it will continue to do so even after removing the camcorder or switching the camcorder off, as long as the mains plug is left in a live socket.DSC04098.JPGDSC04099.JPGDSC04096.JPG
