camera error a7iii

   i get this error message near enough every day. usualy happens just after a shot. have to take battery out to restart the camera. on/off switch does not work at the time. and the last foto taken is partly black on the bottom side. camera is only three weeks in use. any idea what could be the problem?

Hi @a_doors, welcome to the Community.

I've not heard of that problem before and it certainly doesn't sound right! It could indicate a problem with the sensor chip (which would need to be replaced under warranty) but I'm just guessing based on your description. 

The usual reset routine would be happening every time you drop the battery out. Get it in for repair, would be my recommendation.
